What I think of Atticus

So far I think Atticus is a man who thinks that the present is much more important than the past. This can be shown by how important he thinks the trial is and the fact that he never mentioned to his children that he was the best shot in Maycomb County. He also cares a lot about his children, but he wants to raise them right. This is why he punishes them but doesn't hit them. He is a person I would look up to because of his large amounts of patience. Atticus Finch also keeps in mind how the present impacts the future.

Someone Important

My Important person is my Grandpa. He means a lot to me. Right Now he has either Prostate or Colon Cancer. This is his second time with it so he's used to it and is very likely to survive. He has already had surgery to remove it. He also got a blood clot recently. I have been welding since I was 10, but I would not be able to without him and his equipment. He works at Cooper Tires making tires, but he is really good at other stuff. He helps make the plans for the stuff I make. He has also taught me a lot about distinguishing between Chevrolet Corvettes. He is the reason I have my interests in engineering and Cars. I will include a picture of his Corvette below.

Important Person

I have a lot of courageous people in my life, my parents for instance, but the most courageous person to me, and I don't want to sound selfish, is me. Slowly but surely I have started to do harder stuff. I have grown up a lot since middle school, partly because of my friends. Without them, I wouldn't go outside. I actually enjoy being with other people now. But with this good, must come some bad. I have to learn a lot of stuff the hard way, for instance, schoolwork. I do not have the best grades but they are improving. I also have learned to stand up for myself, which sometimes bites me in the butt. I often stand up for myself when I'm wrong.

Not many people know this, but I was born in Germany. Even though I was born on an US army base, barely anyone considers me American. So I roll with it, not caring and it is quite funny when I get called a "Grammar Nazi" by others. Oh the irony. Oh, did I mention that I don't understand Blogs.
